PARKING LEICESTER - Contract parking in Leicester can be a sore subject but surprisingly Leicester is much better serviced than its near neighbour and rival, Nottingham  in this regard. Unlike in Nottingham, businesses and employees in Leicester are not likely to be squeezed by the taxman via the Work Place Parking Levy,  well not for the moment that is. On the other hand, we won’t benefit from the fantastic tram network that is developing in Nottingham and which is to be the main beneficiary of the millions raised by the new tax. Leicester city benefits from closer links to London  and has a comprehensive bus service.
