The Nottingham Institute are proud to announce that Stanford House, 19 Castle Gate, Nottingham has become the location for Nottingham’s newest Institution. Managing Director Dominic Corder commented The Nottingham Institute, when looking for new premises envisaged its new home to be located in The Heart of the City, with heritage befitting of an institution” After many months of searching for the new home and several disappointing experiences, we came upon a chance meeting with Richard Priestley of Exeid and within 24 hours and much creative help, the Nottingham institute were introduced to Stanford house. Instantly the dream became reality” Richard said ” I’m delighted to have  been able to assist the NI with it launch.  Exeid  has access to funds for startup and early stage businesses and as a start up the NI was eligible for the AD Capital start up grant. This financial assistance will significantly reduce the initial costs of the office rents and service charges for the NI to help  the organisation get off to a flying start. The Nottingham Institute Chairman, Michael Henson commented that “Former Lord Mayor and Sheriff of Nottingham, Councillor Leon Unczur, the Patron of the Nottingham Institute “Was delighted that The Nottingham Institute had found their Home” On accepting his role as Patron, Councillor Unczur commented “Nottingham is known for its brands such as Robin Hood, Paul Smith and Boots. I feel the Nottingham Institute over time will evolve to become one of the new generation of Nottingham Legends. As Patron my role is to promote its membership and support the network of Ambassadors and Partners.” The Nottingham Institute ambassadors will be led by Martin Knox, who brings a plethora of experience and expertise to the Institute. The Business Communications Manager Mark Hawkes and Finance Director Tim Bellamy are delighted with the news. The Nottingham Institute is looking forward to showcasing the Grade 2 listed building that reflects the perfect environment for business. The variety of rooms on all floors provide the ideal environment expected and befitting of any Institution. The Lord Mayor of Nottingham will attend the formal ceremony at Stanford House on Wednesday 16th October 2013 6pm.
