Job title: Accounts Assistant
Reporting to: Accounts Manager
Hours: Full Time (40 Hours) although will consider part time.
Location: Nottingham
Exeid Ltd are looking for a dynamic and pro-active individual to join their successful team as an experienced Accounts Assistant. You will be a bright and energetic individual with a good understanding of general accounts as well as having an excellent telephone manner. Xero experience is preferred but not essential and you will need to be highly numerate and organised.
Accounts Assistant duties include:
- Processing of supplier invoices, dealing with suppliers and entries to the purchase ledger with the correct coding
- Organising creditor payments, invoices for payment processing of expense forms
- Reconciliation of bank statement, card payments and processing timesheets
- Data entry of transactions into Xero, timesheets, Works Order databases and spreadsheet maintenance
- To inform relevant councils of changes regarding business rates & managed payment of rates
- Dealing with customer queries
- Credit control duties as required
- Ensuring all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner
- Handling customer service enquiries on an overflow basis in an intelligent manner
- Raising and sending new client agreements.
- Preparing and sending monthly landlord reports detailing income received by each building.
- Assist Accounts Manager in preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
Skills/Attributes required include:
- Strong Microsoft skills, especially Excel, experience in Sage/Xero Accounts
- Good organisation and administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Optimistic and positive outlook on life
- Willing to adapt and develop your skills and responsibilities in line with the growth of the business
Salary
The role is based on a 40 hr week.
